As with all of our furniture it's sanded smooth with no rough edges and available in a variety of finishes. Please see the product images for dimensions. You can choose whether to have a plywood back included or not. This is recessed so the back of the unit is flat, and screwed in place, not tacked, so it won't come off when shoes are pushed against it.
